3. Will you be using the SAME ASSIGMENT in multiple sections of a course to assess an SLO?

• Yes 鈫� Choose the Standardized Option below (green, #1)

Description: The key assignment is pre-loaded with outcomes and is pushed out to all sections.

1. Submit this form to create a development blueprint.

2. Write to knehrbass@calbaptist.edu to ensure your outcomes are created in Canvas.

3. Create the assignment in the blueprint, which will be used for assessing the SLO.

4. Create a grading rubric for that assignment.

5. Find your program outcome that is being assessed with this assignment.

6. Add that outcome to your grading rubric.

7. Remind all professors teaching sections of this class to use that rubric to grade/assess the assignment.

8. After the semester is over, go to Intelligent Insights 鈫� 鈥淎sk Your Data鈥�.

Description: There may be multiple sections of a course, but you don't control the assignment in other professors' sections. Or, you only teach a single section and don't need a standardized option at this time.

You will be using a report called Learning Mastery.

1. Write to knehrbass@calbaptist.edu to ensure your outcomes are created in Canvas.

2. Find the assignment in your current version of your course, which will be used for assessing the SLO.

3. Ensure there is a grading rubric for that assignment.

4. Find your program outcome that is being assessed with this assignment.

5. Add that outcome to your grading rubric.

6. In Course Settings 鈫� Feature Options, ensure that Learning Mastery is enabled.

7. Use that rubric to grade/assess the assignment.

8. After the semester is over:

1. Go to Gradebook.
2. Click the Gradebook dropdown menu.
3. Select Learning Mastery Gradebook.
4. View the Outcomes report for your class section.

Description: You don't have SLO rubrics at this time.

1. Consult your purple card 鈥淐riteria for Success鈥� in Weave to see what benchmark you set.

2. Work with Educational Effectiveness to find a plan for assessing this outcome.
