Modern Languages and Literature
Through the study of languages and literature, the Modern Languages & Literature department at 91猫先生 engages students in the consideration of diverse ideas, cultures, and worldviews through a decidedly Christian lens. We seek to equip students to enter a variety of careers requiring critical and creative thought, excellence in written and oral communication, and a consideration of cultural influences and values. Our caring, experienced professors cultivate classroom experiences that challenge and inspire, preparing students to share their voices and their hearts in their community and around the globe.

Our diverse and dedicated Christian faculty prepares students for future careers embracing a wide range of professions and ministries: as language teachers in secondary education, as writers or editors for newspapers and magazines, as successful creative writers, as instructors of English for foreign students, as well-equipped ministers at home or missionaries abroad, as staff members in law firms or cultural centers, as interpreters for the court or for business companies and as strong candidates for more advanced academic studies including doctoral programs.
