I have over 30 years accounting and finance experience. I have held senior executive positions in the health care, software, mortgage and retail industries in operations management, business development, financial planning and accounting for start-up/pre-IPO ventures and in the non-profit sectors. This includes development of numerous new business divisions and subsidiaries in San Diego and Philadelphia. I am the former chief financial officer (CFO) for a start-up investment firm in the San Francisco Bay area with an operating venture named Bow Wow Labs, Inc, an ecommerce pet products and food company and remain as a member of the Board of Advisors.

I have been teaching Finance and Accounting at the Graduate and Undergraduate levels for many years, both on ground in the classroom and online. I enjoy teaching and believe teaching makes me a better professional; I feel my recent experience in accounting and finance bring currency in the field to the classroom. Academically I earned a Master of Science in Accounting from Keller Graduate School of Management, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix in San Diego, a Graduate Certificate in Financial Analysis from Keller Graduate School of Management, and a Bachelor of Business Administration-Accounting degree from Temple University in Philadelphia.

Completed half the course work towards a DBA in Accounting at Liberty University.
