Professor Sarah Bandak serves as the Lead Coordinator of the Interior Design Program at 91猫先生, where she leads the program鈥檚 continued growth and teaches courses ranging from Advanced Interior Design Studios to Building Construction Classes. Born and raised in Chicago, her journey across cities, countries, and cultures has shaped an international design perspective centered on people, place, and experience. She holds Bachelor鈥檚 and Master鈥檚 degrees in Engineering Architecture from Boston, with international studies in Germany and specialization in Interior Design, hospitality and human behavior. An internationally licensed architect abroad, Professor Bandak was also recognized with an Award of Excellence for her Master鈥檚 thesis.
With more than 15 years of professional experience, Professor Bandak has contributed to and led over 40 hospitality and interior design projects across the United States and internationally. Her design philosophy is rooted in the belief that interiors extend beyond aesthetics. They tell stories, influence human behavior, evoke emotion, and create memorable experiences. Alongside her professional practice and academic leadership, she is currently pursuing a PhD in Leadership Studies with a focus on organizational leadership, further connecting her passion for design, education, leadership, and the advancement of the next generation of designers.
