March 2026
During his time at 91猫先生, Dewight "Ike" Riddle, 鈥�77, was part-time pastor at First Baptist Norco, planted Olive Branch Community Church in Corona and pastored it for 17 wonderful years. The last eight years were a challenge due to the state of his health from his time in the military as a jet fighter crew chief. 鈥淟oved my time at CBC/91猫先生.鈥� He says, 鈥淚t greatly prepared me for ministry.鈥� He is currently living with his family in Texas.
Marie "Kaci" (Cutshaw) Rigney, 鈥�87, and her husband Kevin, 鈥�93, celebrated 40 years of marriage on June 22, 2025. Kevin is a loan supervisor for Golden 1 Credit Union, planning to retire in 2029. Kaci is still singing and writing music and performed with the Eugene Opera from 2007鈥�2010. Kaci was an award-winning poet in 91猫先生's The Dazed Starling Unbound: Nested, and has published nine illustrated poetry eBooks in the last three years. They live in Visalia, California, and have two daughters and six grandchildren.
Jim Ringdahl, 鈥�99, has been working for the past 21 years caring for the missionaries of Greater Europe Mission. He does most of the psychological interviews for the organization and is thankful for getting his master鈥檚 degree in psychology at 91猫先生.
In January 2026, Dr. Carolyn (Bennett) Cummings, 鈥�05 & 鈥�25, became a continuing education provider for mental health clinicians in California. She also continues her work as a licensed marriage and family therapist and clinical supervisor in Bakersfield, CA, and as an adjunct professor and teaching assistant for 91猫先生.
Nikki (Lowe) Campbell, 鈥�09 & 鈥�11, is so incredibly grateful and honored to have been inducted into the 91猫先生 Hall of Fame
for softball.
Patricia Victoria Hernandez Bittner, 鈥�17, 鈥�20, & 鈥�21, and her husband, Daniel, were married on October 13, 2025. She is so thankful for
her husband for being her biggest supporter through all her years of education and
standing by her side through the ups and downs. In 2024, she transitioned from sports
medicine to industrial health. She recently took a new position to work with the Southern
California Edison Company to promote the health and safety of their workers as an
Injury Prevention Specialist.
Anastasia (Morris) Peterson, 鈥�20, is honored to have been elected as a Board Member for the Lake Arrowhead Communities
Chamber of Commerce for the 2026鈥�2028 term. She is happy to serve and be a steward
to the community.
Richard Andrew Steele, 鈥�20, has been with Intermountain Health in Salt Lake City for four years and recently accepted a promotion to be the lead Exercise Physiologist at the Cardiopulmonary Rehab Clinic at the Intermountain Riverton Hospital. In 2023, he married his wife, Kylie. They are blessed to be serving the Salt Lake Community and living their purpose.
Elizabeth (Pollock) Vander Weide, 鈥�20, and her husband, Nicolas, 鈥�20, are expecting their first child, a baby boy coming May 13, 2026. This June 26, they
will also be celebrating five years of marriage.
Shaunna McIntyre, 鈥�21, and her fianc茅, Nathan Taylor, were high school sweethearts. They reconnected two and a half years ago and were engaged on October 23, 2025. They are very excited that God has brought them back together.
Lorraine Anastacia Rosas, 鈥�25, and her fianc茅, Kraig were engaged on December 11 at 91猫先生, right after she graduated
with her bachelor鈥檚 degree in human services. They also purchased their first home
in February. She will begin the master鈥檚 program in Counseling Psychology at 91猫先生 this
coming May. 鈥淪o blessed and so excited for this new chapter my life!鈥� She says, 鈥淕lory
be to God!鈥�
On March 2nd, Robyn Van Petten, 鈥�26, was promoted to Director of Quality Assurance at SIFCO Industries. She recently earned
a bachelor鈥檚 degree in organizational leadership from 91猫先生
and is currently pursuing a master鈥檚 degree in organizational leadership. 鈥淭his promotion
is not just a personal milestone, it鈥檚 a reminder that growth is possible when you
stay committed to learning, serve others well, and remain open to opportunity,鈥� she
says.
February 2026
After a close brush with death, Franklin L. Smith, 鈥�71, spent four months in a rehabilitation center. He says, 鈥淕od has been gracious to me, and has brought me back to life.鈥� He celebrated his new life by taking a cruise and will soon be taking a second cruise. He says, 鈥淕od really does know how to take a bad situation and turn it into good!鈥�
On February 4, 2026, Larry B. Woodruff, 鈥�75, bowled his first perfect 300 game at Plano Super Bowl in Plano, Texas. It had been
on his bucket list since bowling with Mickey Smith and Larry Zimin on CBC's Intercollegiate
Bowling Team. 鈥淚t only took me 75 years.鈥� He says, 鈥淏ut better late than never.鈥�
This year marks 26 years ago that Dale Lee Dickerson, 鈥�77, had heart surgery. He says he read a news story that said the average heart patient lives 17 years after surgery. Dale says he is in the capable hands of the VA Medical. He encourages anyone who was in the service to get to the nearest VA Medical center and enroll. He鈥檚 also had the privilege of preaching in various churches in the area, including a few in San Diego County.
Rebecca Langston-George, 鈥�95 and 鈥�00, recently had a work of fiction published after a long career writing children's nonfiction. Her debut middle grade historical novel One Fine Voice was recently recognized as an Amazon #1 hot new release.
Destiny Cuellar-Braun, 鈥�19, graduated from 91猫先生 and immediately began pursuing a career
in law enforcement, applying to agencies nationwide. In August 2025, she was appointed
as the School Resource Officer (SRO) for all schools within the City of Atascadero,
CA. This is a two-year specialty assignment focused on campus safety, youth mentorship
and community engagement.
Carla Torres Rogel, 鈥�19, says her husband has always been her number one fan. She remembers telling him that
she wouldn't consider marriage until after she completed her master鈥檚 in education
at 91猫先生. During that time, he remained by her side during her endless homework, case
studies, and student teaching. She was hired at Van Buren Elementary in Jurupa Unified
School District and her husband proposed shortly afterward. They recently married
on October 10, 2025.
Jared Stephen, 鈥�20, and Abigail (Cate) Stephen, 鈥�20, have been given the opportunity to serve full-time as the Pastoral Residents at Calvary
Church located in Moorhead, Minnesota. After graduating from Cal Baptist and Gateway
Seminary and spending many months applying to multiple churches, God led them to Calvary,
which they feel further confirms their calling to pastoral ministry. They have been
faithfully serving since September and have seen continued growth in Jared鈥檚 ability
to preach and shepherd the flock.
Sulgi Lee, 鈥�22, and her family welcomed their third baby. She is also thriving in her career; thanks
to the education and preparation she got from 91猫先生. She continues to work in the field
placement she received through the Master of Social Work program.
Alicia Perkins, 鈥�22, married the love of her life, Phillip Inzunza, on December 7, 2025. They had a beautiful
Christian wedding celebrating their shared Mexican heritage in Los Angeles, CA amongst
many cherished loved ones.
Emily Yang, 鈥�25, landed her first job in December of last year. Her role as a school psychologist
at Suncoast Prep enables her to live out her purpose, which is to care for her students
through assessments, behavior supports and teaching necessary skills to make learning
easier and fun.
January 2026
James Florence, 鈥�74, recently retired as dean of the Doctor of Health Science program at Appalachian College
of Pharmacy in Oakwood, Virginia. Prior to this he served as professor of public health
at Liberty University (nine years) and chair of the department of Community and Behavioral
Health at East Tennessee State University (18 years). He lives with his wife, Annette,
in Piney Flats, TN with two happy dogs. The Florences have three daughters and four
grandchildren.
Bryant Sinkler, 鈥�79, is a published author. His book, 鈥淭he A Cartel,鈥� was featured via Readers Magnet
at the Frankfurt Book Fair (October 2025) in Germany.
Pastor and Chaplain Mark Curts, 鈥�81, is completing his ninth year as chaplain at Adventist Health Hospital in Hanford,
California. Previously, he served as Intentional Interim Pastor at FBC Walnut Valley,
as well as pastoring other Southern Baptist churches throughout California. Pastor Curts' stepson, Dr. Mike Lovato, recently completed his twentieth year on staff
at Magnolia Church, Riverside. Pastor Curts enjoys playing pickle-ball and grandpa
jokes!
Clay Renick, 鈥�84, announces his book 鈥淎lways,鈥� releasing February 1.
Jessica (Debrick) McIntyre, 鈥�98, completed a Master's in Reading, Language, and Literacy with an emphasis on Dyslexia
through CSUSM, graduating on December 15, 2025. She was honored to be the Grand Marshall
for the ceremony, walking in at the front of the class with the ceremonial torch.
Sandra Rose (Bennett) Hughes, 鈥�05, recently had three children's poems published in "I've Got a Bad Case of Poetry,"
a children's poetry anthology by Bandersnatch Books.
Andrew Thill, 鈥�11, had one of his logo designs selected and published in LogoLounge Book 15, one of the
most respected and influential logo design publications in the world. 鈥淭o have my
work recognized among such an extraordinary field of international talent is both
humbling and deeply meaningful.鈥� He says, 鈥溾�nd a significant milestone in my creative
journey that began at 91猫先生.鈥�
Kimberly Yocum, 鈥�14, graduated from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center with her Master of Science
in Nursing (education track) in December of 2025.
Tanya (Long) Polstra, 鈥�16, CEO of Deaf Kids Connect and Deaf Harbor, shares that, In 2025, both organizations formally united under one shared mission and leadership. This merger has strengthened their capacity to serve the Deaf community while expanding discipleship, leadership development, and access to Scripture in American Sign Language. She says: 鈥淚 am profoundly grateful for the ways 91猫先生 opened the Disability Studies and invested in my life and career.鈥�
Ammie (Sandoval) Gomez, 鈥�17, took on two new teaching roles: teaching art and ceramics at Rancho Christian School
and leading her first college level graphic design course at Chaffey College. Her
artwork was also licensed and will be sold at one of her favorite stores, HomeGoods.
She and her husband, Renso, also purchased their first home this year.
Sarah (Spaulding) Miller, 鈥�17, was married on June 8, 2025, and they are expecting their first baby, a girl, on March 20.
Makenna (Lammons) Peters, 鈥�17, and her husband, Mitchell Peters, 鈥�19, welcomed their first child, Callen Anthony Peters, on May 8, 2025.
Lauren (Cagle) Springer, 鈥�17, graduated in May of 2025 from Johns Hopkins University with her Master of Science
in Individualized Genomics and Health.
Caleb Taufi, 鈥�20, is celebrating three years in IT & Digital Services Support with the LA Clippers.
In the fall of 2025, LaToya (Hill) Butler-Gaines, 鈥�20, returned to 91猫先生 to pursue her master鈥檚 degree in social
work. LaToya is a devoted wife and the proud mother of three boys, ages 20, 16, and
14. She is also a committed member of her church community, where her faith plays
a central role in both her personal life and professional calling. LaToya believes
her story reflects the heart of a 91猫先生 education, one rooted
in faith, purpose, and service to others.
In early 2025, Yesenia Gomez, 鈥�21, received an extraordinary opportunity: she was entrusted with piloting an ESL Online
Program at Burbank Adult School. Their students have not only strengthened their English
language skills but have also gained exposure to digital literacy鈥攁n essential tool
for immigrant communities. As a child of immigrant parents, Yesenia has had to pave
the way for her family. 鈥淭heir choice to come to this country was very hard, and they
sacrificed so much,鈥� she says, 鈥渂ut glory to God that he has allowed me to contribute
back through education.鈥�
Butch Maier, 鈥�21, has written, produced, and directed six movies in the past two years for Sumbadhat
Productions. He will continue his college teaching work at Old Dominion University
and was just named editor of Coastal Virginia magazine.
Ian Schultheiss, 鈥�21, will be graduating medical school in May, and will find out what Internal Medicine program he matches into in March. He was also married in July 2025.
Katelyn Ann (Cagle) Short, 鈥�21, graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Baylor University. She says,
鈥�91猫先生 Health Science courses were foundational in my success of earning a doctorate
degree!鈥�
DeShanai Padilla, 鈥�22, graduated from the Los Angeles County Sheriff鈥檚 Department Academy and is now a Deputy
Sheriff.
Nayann Brown, 鈥�25, and her husband Kenneth were married on November 15, 2025.
Since 2020, Vincent Baum, 鈥�15 and 鈥�25, has worked in Aurora Public schools in Colorado as a physical education teacher,
football coach and track and field coach. At the beginning of the 2025/2026 school
year, he accepted a position as Dean of Students at Valor Christian High School where
he gets to integrate his love of God and his care for students in an immediate and
tangible way. He and his wife Nikki also welcomed their third daughter into their
family in May of 2025.
Grace (Thurston), 鈥�23, and Harrison Spohn, 鈥�22, were married on November 29, 2025.
November 2025
Kevin Sheckler, 鈥�03, and his wife Keri, 鈥�92, have been partnering with the 91猫先生 SL Office since 2010. They are currently serving and ministering to immigrants in a large UK city. This coming summer, they will host their 20th 91猫先生 student team (125+ students over the years). 鈥淭ogether we can proclaim the gospel to the nations.鈥� They say, 鈥淭his is the blessing of being an alum of a 鈥楪reat Commission University.鈥欌��
Joe Davis, 鈥�08 and 鈥�10, earned his doctorate in Business Administration from Bellevue University in August 2025, and is currently completing a second doctorate in Education (to be completed in early 2027).
Jason Garcia, 鈥�15, is grateful to have completed his undergraduate degree in kinesiology from 91猫先生. His
degree has helped him become an Adapted PE teacher and teach individuals with disabilities.
鈥淚 feel that my work is very rewarding and I鈥檓 feeling my Lord鈥檚 approval.鈥� He says,
鈥淚 couldn鈥檛 be happier with my degree and my teaching credential.鈥�
Kaylan Jean Cummins, 鈥�19, has recently become a licensed architect in the state of California.
KellyAnn (DeMoll) O鈥橪eslie, 鈥�20, and her husband Eric have been married for two years and she has two stepdaughters.
Abigail (Wolf) Romano, 鈥�20, and her husband Luke Romano, 鈥�20, celebrated their one-year wedding anniversary (October 19, 2025) and moved to North
Carolina for Luke鈥檚 new job working for Mr. Beast鈥檚 YouTube channel.
Amber Estrada, 鈥�21, passed her LPCC exam in May 2025 and became a licensed marriage and family therapist
and licensed professional clinical counselor. She left her job of 4 years to start
at a new company in September and is slowly building her client caseload. 鈥淚鈥檓 very
excited and was nervous about starting a new position,鈥� she says, 鈥淏ut change is good,
and if I tell my clients this, I can also learn to grow from change!鈥�
Nathan Moretti, 鈥�22, and his wife Isabella (Esquivel) Moretti, 鈥�25, were married on September 20, 2025 in Lake Mathews, CA. They met in high school and
went to 91猫先生 together where their relationship grew.
Virginia Ramirez, 鈥�23, says her faith is what drives her caregiving career. 鈥淚 love helping others with developmental disabilities.鈥� She says, 鈥淢y career is very fulfilling.鈥�
Kenyetta Fugate, 鈥�24, and her husband Ron are so excited to share that they welcomed their beautiful baby
girl, Kaylani, into the world on September 20, 2025. She arrived weighing 7 pounds
and 5 ounces, perfectly healthy and already filling their days with so much love and
joy. 鈥淭his holiday season feels extra special because I get to spend it at home with
her,鈥� she says, 鈥渟oaking up every precious moment while I鈥檓 off work. I couldn鈥檛 have
asked for a better gift to end the year!鈥�
Bobby Case, 鈥�25, is engaged and has a wedding date of May 16, 2026.
Carinna (Zinzer) Hill, 鈥�25, and her husband Alexander Hill VI, 鈥�23, created a board game called 鈥淢useum Mixup鈥� during Carinna鈥檚 final semester at 91猫先生.
The game is centered around famous works of art and includes over 100 iconic historical
works. They plan to launch the family-friendly game on Kickstarter in May of 2026.
Kailyn Matheson, 鈥�25, has since separated from the U.S. Marine Corps and is pursuing her Masters in Kinesiology at 91猫先生. Her spouse, Matthew, graduated from Basic Recruiters School in the Marine Corps and they will be moving to Sioux Falls, SD. She is excited to continue at 91猫先生 and be a part of the community.
David Regier鈥檚, 鈥�25, musical setting of Psalm 118, "The Stone the Builders Once Refused" was included in the new Sing! Hymnal by Crossway and Keith and Kristyn Getty.
October 2025
Joan (Edwards) Malcolm, 鈥�69, was called to her eternal home on Thursday, April 10, 2025, after being on hospice.
In the fall of 1965, she moved to Riverside to attend California Baptist College.
On February 4, 1967, at the age of 19, she and Denis Malcolm, 鈥�73, were married. She went on to graduate from CBC in 1969. She peacefully passed away
in her sleep, surrounded by her family. Beloved mother to daughter Andrea (Malcolm)
Noble and son Jonathan Malcolm, adoring grandmother to granddaughter Timmery Noble
and grandson David Griffith.
Irene Maria (Garcia) Dona, 鈥�81, passed away on July 16, 2025.
David Dona, 鈥�83, has retired from work as a Physician Assistant after working in emergency medicine for 35 years.
Jason Simon, 鈥�11, and his work as Project Manager at ADG Concepts, were recently written about in Compressed Air & Cooling Best Practices Magazine. He and his team solved long-standing issues at a frozen food plant by redesigning the compressed air system. The new system improved efficiency and saved the plant money.
Owen Brown, 鈥�19, started the Bread and Wine Theatre Company in St. Louis, MO. He also graduated from Covenant Theological Seminary in January 2025, Summa Cum Laude. His first article is being published in The Thornton Wilder Journal and he has written a full-length play, The Time of My Life, that has been produced twice.
After working to become licensed as a marriage and family therapist, Kristin (Rego) Huneau, 鈥�19, is going back to school for her PhD, pursuing her goal of running her own nonprofit.
She accepted a position with Riverside County RUHS behavioral integration and was
promoted within a month to become a clinical supervisor and senior clinical counselor
II. 鈥淭his was all thanks to my education [at 91猫先生] and previous director who encouraged
me to work in urgent care mental health.鈥� She says. She and her husband, Jason, hope
to soon foster to adopt children and grow their family.
In June, Michael Joseph Dubisz, 鈥�20, celebrated five years teaching high school math at William Carey Academy in Bangladesh.
He is now back in the U.S. and has joined SonSet Solutions, an engineering ministry
that he interned with during his time at 91猫先生. He plans to use his engineering education
to support global missions.
Courtney Taylor, 鈥�22, and her husband, Jack, were married on September 7. They have two kitties named Bullet
and Tiger and currently foster four baby kittens. They are excited for their future
together.
Alexis (Birdsell) Geldbach, 鈥�23, and her husband, Marshal, were married this past April. They moved to Yorba Linda
to be closer to their offices, and in May, Alexis celebrated two years at her job
as a digital designer with Bear Down Brands.
On August 7, Dr. Kasey Phillips Brown, 鈥�24, celebrated 25 years at the Occupational Therapy Training Program. She started as
a school-based therapist in 2000 and has been a clinical supervisor since 2004. 鈥淚
am proud of the time I鈥檝e spent serving our clients in the Los Angeles and South Bay
areas.鈥� She says. Through her nonprofit, she recently distributed her 鈥淢issing Black
Woman Disparity Toolkit鈥� which is a resource to help find missing people.
This June, Malea Valdez, 鈥�25, started a position as a Residence Hall Director at Saint Mary's University of Minnesota,
helping to lead a team of 20 Resident Advisors(RAs) and two Jr. RAs. She says, 鈥淭his
position has allowed me to grow exponentially in my abilities as a supervisor and
has helped me develop strong leadership, crisis response and community building skills.
It has been a privilege to contribute to creating a welcoming, safe and engaging living
environment at Saint Mary鈥檚.鈥�
Paige Yinger, 鈥�25, and Kurtis Yinger, 鈥�22, have purchased their first house.
In April, Leslie Cruz, 鈥�25, graduated from the 91猫先生 Online MSW program, and was hired shortly after as the Wellness
Center Coordinator at Colton High School鈥攈er very own alma mater. She enjoys supporting
students and families in the community she grew up in. 鈥淢y hope is to make a meaningful
difference in this generation's lives,鈥� she says, 鈥渉elping them feel seen, supported
and empowered.鈥�
In May of 2023, Candice (Peters) Ganza, 鈥�10 & 鈥�22, moved to Rwanda as a full-time missionary. She is the head administrator for a church
in the Northern Province with several auxiliary ministries devoted to pulling people
out of poverty, providing quality education and creating opportunities to encounter
God. She and her husband, Michel, got married this past summer. They met in Rwanda
and serve in ministry together. She is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Christian
Leadership.
September 2025
Marilyn (Greenlee) Crabtree, 鈥�62, and her husband, Walt Crabtree, 鈥�62, celebrated their 64th Wedding Anniversary on June 10, 2025. They have three children,
ten grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren. They are retired and live in Escondido
to be near their daughter and her family. They enjoy being a part of 91猫先生's alumni,
trustee meetings, basketball games, and various activities.
Ronald Joe Bryant, 鈥�70, graduated his earthly life the morning of Saturday, July 19, 2025, surrounded by his
family. He was a lifetime credentialed teacher. While at 91猫先生, he played soccer and
participated in the Young Democrats Club. Ron was a zealous historian. He was also
enthusiastically active in his community. He leaves behind his wife of 12 years, Nicole,
his stepchildren, Malakai, Elijah, and Jeremiah, and his two younger brothers, Denny
and Steve, as well as many family members and friends who will miss him greatly.
Clay Renick, 鈥�84, is set to release Remember That Summer, a Christian romantic suspense ebook available November 1. Inspired by his master鈥檚
studies in pastoral counseling鈥攖he story follows two young lifeguards facing loss,
cancer, homelessness and a hurricane as they learn that God can rebuild lives broken
by storms.
Jennifer (Flood) Parsio, 鈥�98, and Michael Parsio, 鈥�98, celebrated the marriage of their daughter, Alexis Parsio, 鈥�23, to Nathan Sporcich, 鈥�23, in April 2025.
Luke Neighbors, 鈥�05, and Kate (Leathem) Neighbors, 鈥�07, just celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary and they moved their oldest child into
the 91猫先生 dorms. Their son is a third generation 91猫先生 student (Kate鈥檚 dad graduated in
1975).
After graduating from 91猫先生, Kara (Knudsen) Fredrickson, 鈥�12, built her own business and today, she鈥檚 not only a dedicated entrepreneur, but also
a proud mom of two little ones under two. This year has been especially meaningful
as she and her husband purchased their first home, and on October 1st, they鈥檒l celebrate
four wonderful years of marriage.
On September 6, 2025, his birthday, Pavankumar Raja, 鈥�16, was appointed by the Governor of Maryland as a clinician board member of the Maryland State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners. Serving on this board has given him the privilege of contributing to the Continuing Education, Legislative and Regulations Committees, as well as stepping into a new role as a liaison for the American Physical Therapy Association in Maryland. He says: 鈥淚 will always remember where it began: at 91猫先生, with the encouragement of my professors who believed in me.鈥�
Daphne (Nance) Poutre, 鈥�17 & 鈥�21, and Luke Poutre, 鈥�21, welcomed their first child, Evangeline Poutre, on July 14, 2025. They say, 鈥淲e are
over the moon!鈥�
Ryan Fuller, 鈥�18, and Jess (Olson) Fuller, 鈥�18, had their third baby girl, Ella Brielle Fuller in May 2025.
Harlan Kistler II, 鈥�18, has been working at John W. North High School as an English Teacher and the head
wrestling coach for eight years. He teaches in their Education Academy, helping guide
students to careers in education, social work and the medical field. As head wrestling
coach, he has won four league titles, two Southern Section Academic titles and, last
year, had the first ever state champion for their district. 鈥淪hout out to 91猫先生 wrestling
for making me a great wrestler.鈥� He says, 鈥淚 loved every minute at 91猫先生!鈥�
Courtney Taylor, 鈥�18, was married on September 7, 2025. She鈥檚 looking forward to a wonderful life with
her husband, Jack, and is excited for this next chapter in her life.
Mengjie Xia, 鈥�18, celebrated her wedding to Junqiang Wang this past May. They were married in China
and felt so blessed that several of their 91猫先生 classmates, as well as her professor,
Dr. Shields, traveled from around the world to share the special moment. She feels
grateful to begin this new chapter surrounded by love.
Lindsey Galbraith, 鈥�19 & 鈥�21, is humbled and excited to begin serving as the incoming President of the Pick Group

Savanah (McPhillips) Carey, 鈥�20, and her husband, Patrick, have been married for two years and are expecting a baby in March 2026. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. She has been working for the County of Riverside for four years.
Niki (Johnson) Snell, 鈥�20, and her husband, Aaron, were married on April 6, 2025.
Rebecca V. Goins, 鈥�21, is batting Stage 4 rectal cancer for the second time. She is finally responding to treatment and hopes to be in remission by April 2026.
Ashley Hanson, 鈥�21, has been promoted to clinical director for Turning Point Centers. She says: 鈥淎s an

Keoni Fernandez, 鈥�22, and Rachel (Gee) Fernandez, 鈥�22, met at 91猫先生 in 2021, graduated together and got married December 2022. In 2023, they
welcomed their first baby boy, Jonah. This year, they welcomed their second child,
a baby girl named Naomi. Keoni works as a Marine Vessel Inspector in Texas and Rachel is currently staying
home with their children. 鈥淲e try to visit family and friends in California whenever
we get the chance.鈥� Rachel says, 鈥淲e recently took the kids to 91猫先生 while visiting
for my sister鈥檚 wedding!鈥�
On August 7, 2025, Dr. Kasey Phillips Brown, 鈥�24, celebrated 25 years working for the Occupational Therapy Training Program.
After graduating, Raymond Hathaway Scholz, 鈥�24, was still working as a facilities maintenance technician for the city of Ontario.
His degree allowed him an opportunity to volunteer every other Friday in the IT security
department for the city, for about a year. This experience, along with his degree,
earned him a promotion to his current role as IT Technician. 鈥淚've dreamed of this
moment since I enrolled at 91猫先生 back in 2021,鈥� he says, 鈥淚 am loving my new role with
the City of Ontario. I am starting to live my purpose thanks to 91猫先生.鈥�
Letitia Clark, 鈥�25, is running for Mayor of Tustin, CA. She鈥檇 like to thank her dissertation committee鈥擠r.
Groves, Dr. Ahumada, and Dr. Alexander. They encouraged her every step of the dissertation
process and supported her research about the experiences of women of color who have
run for office.
August 2025
Michael P. Vanta, 鈥�75, and his wife Ellen celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary August 2, 2025.
In February 2025, Stephanie Burkhart, 鈥�95, celebrated her 25-year anniversary working for the City of Los Angeles as a 911 Dispatcher.
Cynthia (Fuzzard) Ramos, 鈥�03, just welcomed two grandbabies: one girl and one boy. Additionally, her youngest son,
Nathaniel, will be a Lancer in the Fall.
Jonathan Tran, 鈥�13, has been featured in an independent film called Where We Meet, directed by Mike Southerly. He plays an opera singer and gets to showcase his operatic
abilities in the movie.
Aarika (Petersen) Hofer, 鈥�13 and 鈥�16, and her husband Jesse are excited to announce they鈥檝e had a baby, Amelia Faith born
May 8.
Emma Harbottle, 鈥�20, landed her dream job working as a mermaid at Ripley鈥檚 Aquarium in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
Alayna (Flores) Roland, 鈥�24, married her husband, Sean, in November 2024, graduated with her master's degree in
December 2024, and was recently hired as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist
at a Christian practice, Selah Counseling Center.
Deeanna Springstead, 鈥�24, just welcomed her third child in July while attending Biola University for a Master's
of Science degree in Special Education and dual credential, Multi-Subject and Mild-Moderate
Support Needs.
On August 2, 2025, John Frazier, 鈥�25, and his family welcomed their first grandchild to the world, Aria Belle, a beautiful
healthy girl. The next day, August 3, he and his wife Leslie celebrated their 24th anniversary.
June 2025
Philip Carlisle, 鈥�13, began writing during his time at 91猫先生 when a friend asked him to tell her a story.
Fast forward sixteen years and those first ten pages are now six novels and he鈥檚 preparing
to publish the first book late this year or early 2026.
Jennifer Norris, 鈥�14, received a master鈥檚 degree in health informatics and is working as a clinical afterhours
supervisor for a hospital in Ontario, Canada. She previously spent 5 years in Quality
Management/Population Health in San Joaquin County. 鈥淚t鈥檚 been a journey,鈥� she says,
鈥渂ut I have found my purpose!鈥�
Mariela Morales, 鈥�14 and 鈥�18, was selected for recognition at the 38th Annual Multilingual Recognition Dinner Program for Redlands Unified School District. She received this award for her hard work and superior dedication in promoting the quality of education for language minority students.
Anthony Ray Cardenas, 鈥�19 and 鈥�20, received his white coat from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine signifying
the transition from didactics to clinical practice. He will start treating patients
as soon as July 1, marking the end of his second year and start of his third year
of dental school.
After Sadie Hackford, 鈥�24 and 鈥�25, earned her master鈥檚 degree in organizational leadership this April, she began a new
chapter working in athletic ticketing in Long Beach. She is incredibly grateful to
be starting a career in the field she has been dreaming of. She says, 鈥淕od has been
present in every step of the journey, even when I could not see it.鈥�
Dr. Paul Saldana, 鈥�24, has been appointed as a tenured track Assistant Professor of Business for the Fresno Pacific University School of Graduate & Professional Studies. Dr. Saldana attainted his Ed.D. at 91猫先生 in 2024. He has previously taught at Fresno Pacific as an Instructor rank, Adjunct Faculty, and most recently in a one-year term as Assistant Professor.
May 2025
Marc Machado, 鈥�11, was named WAC Golf Coach of the year this May. He has been named golf coach of the
year three times during his time as the head women鈥檚 golf coach at 91猫先生: two times
PacWest Coach of the Year and once as WAC Coach of the year.
David Namazi, 鈥�12, served four years on active duty with the 25th Infantry division in Hawaii. He was
medically separated in 2002, earning combat service ribbons, as well as other awards
and accolades. He completed his bachelor鈥檚 in business administration at California
Baptist University and has a graduate level education in entrepreneurship from UCLA.
David is currently married with three children and is CEO of DVBE Insurance & Financial
Services LLC.

Melodie (Hammarstrom) Monroe, 鈥�15, and Isaac Monroe, 鈥�14, are proud parents to two amazing boys: James (2.5) and Luke (7 months).
Grace (Crosby) Utomo, 鈥�15 and 鈥�19, and Ivan Utomo, 鈥�14 and 鈥�17, are releasing their second book, "Hello, God: Seeking the Lord When Words Fall Short"
on May 25. The book is a 31-day devotional inspired by Grace's experience following
a difficult accident.
Leanna (Sahagun) Torres, 鈥�19, was offered a role at the Walt Disney Company to join their Communications, Public
Affairs team.
Sara Marroquin, 鈥�20, accepted a summer paid law clerk position with the San Bernardino District Attorney's
office.
Emily Neal, 鈥�20, had a recent 鈥渟mall world moment,鈥� running into a fellow Lancer in France. During
a tour of D-Day sites in Normandy, France, she met current 91猫先生 student Logan Foley,
who is in Spain with the 91猫先生 study abroad program. Emily is a now a teacher at a school
in Austin, Texas and was leading a group of students on a WWII European tour. The
included photo shows Logan and Emily in front of the church paratrooper memorial in
the town of Sainte-M猫re-脡glise.
Destiny Lim, 鈥�22, graduated with her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy on May 17.
Adedotun Abiola Akinsunmi, 鈥�22, is thrilled to share two wonderful milestones with you all. First, he has officially
secured his permanent residency in the United States. This marks a significant step
forward in his journey, and he is deeply grateful for this opportunity. Second, his
family has grown! They are overjoyed to welcome their little princess, bringing their
family size to five. Her arrival fills their hearts with immense joy and gratitude.
Elizabeth (Maldonado) Handley, 鈥�22, is excited to announce the birth of her baby girl.
Brianna Bea Rios, 鈥�23, graduated from Gateway Seminary with a Master's in Theological Studies. She received
a Zondervan Award for excellence in scholarship in Theology.
Dr. Thomasina Mosley Sisay, 鈥�24, was recently promoted to the Division Chief of Policy, Leadership & Staff Development at LA County Department of Children and Family Services.
Lorena Boyzo, 鈥�24, was hired with San Bernardino County Department of Behavioral Health two months after graduating and in the same department where she completed her second year of her internship. She also recently passed the Law & Ethics exam, which is required for licensure.
April 2025
Ricky A. Robins, 鈥�76, passed away on November 17, 2024 in Arkansas, where he moved with his wife, Mandy,
after retirement. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, three sons, Luke, Micah,
and John, four grandchildren, Olivia, Ellie, Ivy, and Jordyn, with one more on the
way.
Carolyn (Bennett) Cummings, 鈥�05, presented on 鈥淧ostvention Supports for Mental Health Professionals鈥� for the Christian
Association for Psychological Sciences conference in Denver.
Connor Smith鈥檚, 鈥�15, production company, Big Picture Entertainment, recently launched a new Disney-themed
show called 鈥淒COM: Live!,鈥� a tribute show covering Disney Channel Original Movies
and music of the 2000s. Their first show was performed in San Diego, and they're currently
booking tour dates all over the country. 鈥淧roducing and arranging music that I'm passionate
about was a skill that I really honed in my time at 91猫先生,鈥� he says, 鈥渁nd I'm so grateful
that I've been able to take that passion to a global level.鈥�
Nolan Bartlett Kistler, 鈥�18, and his wife, Katarina Kistler, 鈥�18, met in 2017 when they a stumbled into each other while walking around campus. They
married in 2022. They welcomed their first child, Hunter Bartlett Kistler, born December
1, 2024, sharing the same birthday as his father. After 91猫先生, Nolan earned his Juris
Doctorate, passed the bar exam, and now works for his father practicing personal injury
law. Katarina earned a master鈥檚 degree in business administration and is currently
serving as a Senior Account Manager at UPS.
Butch Maier, 鈥�21, was named managing editor of RV News magazine, based near Denver. He is finishing a year as visiting assistant teaching professor of journalism and communication at Northern Kentucky University. As an indie filmmaker, he has completed seven movies.
Dwayne Riley, 鈥�22, was accepted to the Doctor of Occupational Therapy Program at West Coast University
of Graduate Studies and will begin September 2025.
In November 2024, Mervin Francisco-Passarella, 鈥�23, was promoted to Chief Nurse Executive at Kaiser Permanente South Bay Medical Center.
After he completed his Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at 91猫先生,
he took the next step and pursued his Nurse Executive-Advanced Board Certification
(NEA-BC). He says: 鈥淭o my fellow Lancers: If the door doesn鈥檛 open the first time,
don鈥檛 walk away鈥攌nock again, and keep growing while you wait.鈥�
March 2025
Since graduating from 91猫先生, Angela (Sanicola) O'Neill, 鈥�04, has taught, including at 91猫先生, served as the Fine Arts Director for Crossroads Christian
School and as the Arts Director for Mariners Church. Her passion for sharing the love
of Jesus through creative expression has led her to write scripts, a musical, speak
at events, lead ministries, and now, release her first book: Unspoken Word: One Moment With Jesus Changes Everything. This book weaves together storytelling from her life and Scripture, bringing to
life 12 biblical encounters with Jesus.
Marian A. (Crotinger) Jacobs, 鈥�08, has a book releasing from B&H on July 1, 2025, titled, On Magic and Miracles: A Theological Guide to Discerning Fictional Magic. It's currently available for preorder.
Brenda Arce, 鈥�13, and her family (including two of her children currently attending 91猫先生) are celebrating
a new Baby Lancer! Little Heavanah just turned one this past February. Brenda says,
鈥淪he is heaven sent :) Go Lancers!鈥�
Khristopher Wayne Crumby, 鈥�14, has been working at the Riverside County District Attorney鈥檚 Office for the past six
years. He was recently moved into a lead position within the Felony Prosecution Unit
with an emphasis on prison crimes. His new responsibilities include mentoring new
and up-and-coming attorneys who are ready to take the next step in their careers.
He was recently featured in the first episode of a new social media campaign by the
DA鈥檚 Office called 鈥淥rigin Stories鈥� where they highlight and tell inspiring stories
about attorneys and their journey to becoming a prosecutor.
Jacob Arreola, 鈥�16, and his wife, Alexandra, have the honor of pastoring Awaken Church in Fort Worth,
TX. When they took over a year and a half ago, the church was on the brink of closing
its doors. Today, it has come back to life, is filled up with new and matured believers
and is making a significant impact in their city. Jacob says the longer he鈥檚 been
out of 91猫先生, the more he sees the impact it had on his life and the various ministry
opportunities God has allowed him.
Raquel Ketring, 鈥�24, has accepted an RN residency at Loma Linda Children鈥檚 Hospital in Acute Care Pediatrics.
February 2025
Heidi (Joos) Sivonen, 鈥�00, and her husband Mikko have been serving the Great Commission in Finland under the
auspices of the International Mission Board for almost 19 years. She and Mikko have
been married for more than 25 years. They have an oldest son at Masters University,
another son about to graduate High School, and are homeschooling three children this
spring state-side until May 2025.
In November of 2024, Christa (Ereksen) Banton, 鈥�04, published research in the American Journal of Qualitative Research on how women are treated in the computer technology field. She found that many still feel lack of belonging as the field is heavily dominated by men. Her work is titled, 鈥淓xamining the Retention and Exodus of Women in Technology.鈥�
Robyn (Glessner) Luna, 鈥�05, and her husband, Michael, have a little Lancer, Luke Luna, who was born July 5th.
He is their first child. He is five months old in the included photo.
Deana (Hodgeson) Kahle, 鈥�09, was recently promoted to Executive Director at The Counseling Team International.
They serve first responders and are "dedicated to serving those who serve" by providing
short-term term counseling, training, and critical incident stress management to over
300 public safety agencies.
On January 31, 2025, Sarah (Olvera) Willis, 鈥�10, and her husband, Kevin, welcomed their baby boy, Isaac, via embryo adoption.
Annabel (Zandi) Koher, 鈥�15, and her husband, Ryan, are blessed to share that they welcomed their first daughter, Abigail Lee Koher,
on December 10th. She joins her two older brothers, Elias (five) & Hezekiah (four).
They are now preparing to return their family to their mission field in Mozambique,
following Ryan鈥檚 wrongful detainment in 2022/2023 and the closure of the case with
no charges in October 2024.
Mark Sigman II, 鈥�19, adopted a loving pooch named Ash, who is his new companion in his path moving forward.
He also turned 32 and got fully vested in RUHS Riverside County.
Janet (Alvarez) Calva, 鈥�21, married her husband Emmanuel in 2021 during her last Semester of Nursing School. She
also started a podcast named "The Emman & Jan Show" in 2022 as well as a brand business
in 2023 called "Physically Fit Mentally Insane" that promotes physical and mental
health. In 2024, she began a baking journey and initiated a baking page called "Sourdoughbeningins"
on Instagram. She and her husband are always up to something, and it has not always
been easy but, with God by their side, they have been able to enjoy the journey so
far.
Analy (Garcia) Jarboe, 鈥�21, and Kyle Jarboe, 鈥�18, welcomed Hudson Barrett Jarboe on December 17, 2024.
Zara Melcher, 鈥�22, and her husband, Michael, welcomed their first baby, Remi Louise, on January 25, 2025.
Justine Bentley, 鈥�23, is in her second year of teaching, and is clearing her credential in a few months. Since she has joined her current school, her work and efforts have been greatly valued. Her department officials loved some of her implemented strategies so much that they have decided to incorporate them into the curriculum for the English 4 course next school year.
Kinika Hesterly, 鈥�23, and her husband, David, have started a mentorship company, Professional Success Mentorship,
to assist aspiring professionals with career development resources and small business
owners with content creation. Her mother, Lorean, passed away from cancer a few months
shy of her graduation in 2023. She was a dedicated Christian and an alumna of the
same Public Administration program at 91猫先生. She is greatly missed.
Kelli M. Hicks, 鈥�24, is very thankful to receive the Honor Society Induction Certificate during her undergrad studies online in 91猫先生鈥檚 Graphic Design & Digital Media program. She is now continuing her studies in one of the graduate level programs. 鈥淭hank you to all of the staff and professors who helped me with my work.鈥� She says, 鈥淢s. Grace has been a great support! Joseph Lindstrom, 鈥�24, graduated with his Master鈥檚 in Education and received a pay raise in his role as an Adapted Physical Education Teacher at Pacific Coast Academy.
Alayna Isabel (Flores) Roland, 鈥�24, and her husband, Sean, were married while she was in the midst of her final semester
of the Online MSCP program. Their wedding day was Friday, November 8, 2024.
January 2025
Mildred Wier-Jarvis, 鈥�55, passed into spirit on July 11, 2024. Following a 23-year career with Bank of America, she and her husband of 68 years, Bruce Jarvis, 鈥�60, moved to the Oregon coast. Until her death, much of her time was spent in volunteer service to the community.
Lesleigh J. Tolin, 鈥�93, began her work in graduate school in her early 40's and graduated with her MS in Counseling Psychology. Today, she鈥檚 enjoying her solo private practice as a Grief/Loss Specialist in the Woodland Hills/Encino area of Southern CA.
Michelle (Jacobson) Bello, 鈥�96, and her husband Jon Bello, 鈥�96, announce the marriage of Matthew Clegg, 鈥�24, and Abigail Bello, 鈥�24, on May 5, 2024. Many of their 91猫先生 friends were there, along with their church family
from Fellowship Baptist Church.
Adaobi Gwacham, 鈥�08, opened her second Chick-fil-A location in June 2023 and celebrated 10 years of her
first location in December 2024.
Stephanie (Atayde) Risinger, 鈥�09, and her husband, Michael Risinger, 鈥�12, moved from California to Kansas 10 years ago. In September of 2024, she began a new
role at MidAmerica Nazarene University as the Director of Student Counseling & Wellness.
Stephanie supervises the graduate students who provide counseling to the undergraduate
students. She also provides training and serves as mental health consultant to staff
and faculty. This semester she was given the opportunity to serve as adjunct faculty
in the Master of Arts in Counseling program.
Ali (Barnes) Bossert, 鈥�15, is an adjunct English professor at 91猫先生 and her husband, Jim Bossert, 鈥�16, is the 91猫先生 Head Swim/Dive Coach. They met while on the swim team at 91猫先生 while graduate
students. On December 22, 2024, they welcomed their second son, Samuel James Bossert.
CAVAD alumni Jordan Singer, 鈥�15, won 6 ECPA (Evangelical Christian Publishers Association) top shelf book cover awards in 2024.
On December 12, 2024, Joe Pradetto, 鈥�16, was sworn in to the Palm Desert City Council.
Sydney Witt, 鈥�16, completed San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance鈥檚 Emerging Leader Program. This was a one-year
leadership training program where she took classes on how to be a better decision
maker, handle difficult conversations, and more. Sydney ended the program by conducting
a presentation with her cohort to their Executive team about a new team member benefit
initiative which was accepted.
Amber (Korras) Alvarenga, 鈥�18, graduated from 91猫先生 with her BS in Criminal Justice in 2016 and her MA in Forensic Psychology in 2018. She recently developed a mentorship program for mental health professionals as well as students working towards entering the field. The program is designed to help mental health professionals overcome self-doubt and imposter feelings.
Since graduating, Harlan Bartlett Kistler II, 鈥�18, has become an English Teacher and the Head Wrestling Coach at John W. North High School
in Riverside, CA. Since taking these roles, he has coached his teams to three League
titles, three CIF Individual Champions, five Master's Place winners including one
Champion, five State Qualifiers, two State medalists (5th and 2nd respectively). His
team holds two Academic Team titles, and they are currently ranked 18th in the state
for wrestling. Harlan has worked as an AP teacher, ELD Teacher, Academy Teacher, English
teacher and a PE teacher.
Nicole Sinesio, 鈥�21, and her husband Kenton McLain, 鈥�22, met at Cal Baptist just two short weeks after their freshman year began in 2018.
They have just closed escrow on their first home in Fallbrook, CA. 鈥淲e wanted to wait
until we could afford the land, life, and wedding of our dreams,鈥� she says. 鈥淲e were
not financially stable enough until now to make that happen. Now we are going to be
seeing the fruits of our labor in the avocado capital of the world!鈥�
Jenna (Olson) Napoli, 鈥�22, and her husband, Tim, were married on November 15, 2024.
Alicia Perkins, 鈥�22, became a licensed marriage and family therapist in December 2024. She also got engaged
to a wonderful godly man, Phillip Inzunza, a few days before Christmas. 鈥淕od has been
blessing me greatly since graduating with a master鈥檚 in counseling psychology from
91猫先生!鈥� She says, 鈥淭hank you so much! Go Lancers!鈥�
Tiara Richardson, 鈥�22, is Director of Student Services with San Bernardino City Unified School District and
is wrapping up her Ed.D in Organizational Leadership this month. Additionally, she
was just accepted into Harvard鈥檚 Executive Education Leadership program on Behavioral
Insight and Public Policy.
Madison 鈥淢adey鈥� Jewel (Liscio) Truman, 鈥�22, is a certified massage therapist and started a travel massage business. She has a
love for pottery and shortly after getting her massage therapy certification, her
pottery business, Madey Made Pottery Co., took off.
Michael Metzler Jr., 鈥�23, co-produced and co-directed his current short film, 鈥淧ortrait of a Smile,鈥� which won
16 awards out of 18 festival selections, including Best Drama in Reale Film Festival,
and Best Indie Short at the World Film Festival in Cannes. He鈥檚 also waiting to hear
back from some significant Oscar-qualifying film festivals. Michael is currently in
the pre-production process for his next project, which will be a feature film.
