November 2025

Kevin Sheckler, 鈥03, and his wife Keri, 鈥92, have been partnering with the 91猫先生 SL Office since 2010. They are currently serving and ministering to immigrants in a large UK city. This coming summer, they will host their 20th 91猫先生 student team (125+ students over the years). 鈥淭ogether we can proclaim the gospel to the nations.鈥 They say, 鈥淭his is the blessing of being an alum of a 鈥楪reat Commission University.鈥欌

Joe Davis, 鈥08 and 鈥10, earned his doctorate in Business Administration from Bellevue University in August 2025, and is currently completing a second doctorate in Education (to be completed in early 2027).

Garcia_JasonJason Garcia, 鈥15, is grateful to have completed his undergraduate degree in kinesiology from 91猫先生. His degree has helped him become an Adapted PE teacher and teach individuals with disabilities. 鈥淚 feel that my work is very rewarding and I鈥檓 feeling my Lord鈥檚 approval.鈥 He says, 鈥淚 couldn鈥檛 be happier with my degree and my teaching credential.鈥

 

 

Cummins_KaylanKaylan Jean Cummins, 鈥19, has recently become a licensed architect in the state of California.

 

 

 

KellyAnn (DeMoll) O鈥橪eslie, 鈥20, and her husband Eric have been married for two years and she has two stepdaughters.

Romano_AbigailAbigail (Wolf) Romano, 鈥20, and her husband Luke Romano, 鈥20, celebrated their one-year wedding anniversary (October 19, 2025) and moved to North Carolina for Luke鈥檚 new job working for Mr. Beast鈥檚 YouTube channel.

 

 

 

Estrada_AmberAmber Estrada, 鈥21, passed her LPCC exam in May 2025 and became a licensed marriage and family therapist and licensed professional clinical counselor. She left her job of 4 years to start at a new company in September and is slowly building her client caseload. 鈥淚鈥檓 very excited and was nervous about starting a new position,鈥 she says, 鈥淏ut change is good, and if I tell my clients this, I can also learn to grow from change!鈥



Moretti_Nathan_IsabellaNathan Moretti, 鈥22, and his wife Isabella (Esquivel) Moretti, 鈥25, were married on September 20, 2025 in Lake Mathews, CA. They met in high school and went to 91猫先生 together where their relationship grew.

 

 

 

Virginia Ramirez, 鈥23, says her faith is what drives her caregiving career. 鈥淚 love helping others with developmental disabilities.鈥 She says, 鈥淢y career is very fulfilling.鈥

Fugate_KenyettaKenyetta Fugate, 鈥24, and her husband Ron are so excited to share that they welcomed their beautiful baby girl, Kaylani, into the world on September 20, 2025. She arrived weighing 7 pounds and 5 ounces, perfectly healthy and already filling their days with so much love and joy. 鈥淭his holiday season feels extra special because I get to spend it at home with her,鈥 she says, 鈥渟oaking up every precious moment while I鈥檓 off work. I couldn鈥檛 have asked for a better gift to end the year!鈥

 

Bobby Case, 鈥25, is engaged and has a wedding date of May 16, 2026.

Hill_CarinnaCarinna (Zinzer) Hill, 鈥25, and her husband Alexander Hill VI, 鈥23, created a board game called 鈥淢useum Mixup鈥 during Carinna鈥檚 final semester at 91猫先生. The game is centered around famous works of art and includes over 100 iconic historical works. They plan to launch the family-friendly game on Kickstarter in May of 2026.

 

 

Kailyn Matheson, 鈥25, has since separated from the U.S. Marine Corps and is pursuing her Masters in Kinesiology at 91猫先生. Her spouse, Matthew, graduated from Basic Recruiters School in the Marine Corps and they will be moving to Sioux Falls, SD. She is excited to continue at 91猫先生 and be a part of the community.

David Regier鈥檚, 鈥25, musical setting of Psalm 118, "The Stone the Builders Once Refused" was included in the new Sing! Hymnal by Crossway and Keith and Kristyn Getty.

October 2025

Malcolm_JoanJoan (Edwards) Malcolm, 鈥69, was called to her eternal home on Thursday, April 10, 2025, after being on hospice. In the fall of 1965, she moved to Riverside to attend California Baptist College. On February 4, 1967, at the age of 19, she and Denis Malcolm, 鈥73, were married. She went on to graduate from CBC in 1969. She peacefully passed away in her sleep, surrounded by her family. Beloved mother to daughter Andrea (Malcolm) Noble and son Jonathan Malcolm, adoring grandmother to granddaughter Timmery Noble and grandson David Griffith.

Dona_IreneIrene Maria (Garcia) Dona, 鈥81, passed away on July 16, 2025.

 

 

 

 

David Dona, 鈥83, has retired from work as a Physician Assistant after working in emergency medicine for 35 years.

Jason Simon, 鈥11, and his work as Project Manager at ADG Concepts, were recently written about in Compressed Air & Cooling Best Practices Magazine. He and his team solved long-standing issues at a frozen food plant by redesigning the compressed air system. The new system improved efficiency and saved the plant money.

Owen Brown, 鈥19, started the Bread and Wine Theatre Company in St. Louis, MO. He also graduated from Covenant Theological Seminary in January 2025, Summa Cum Laude. His first article is being published in The Thornton Wilder Journal and he has written a full-length play, The Time of My Life, that has been produced twice.

HuneauAfter working to become licensed as a marriage and family therapist, Kristin (Rego) Huneau, 鈥19, is going back to school for her PhD, pursuing her goal of running her own nonprofit. She accepted a position with Riverside County RUHS behavioral integration and was promoted within a month to become a clinical supervisor and senior clinical counselor II. 鈥淭his was all thanks to my education [at 91猫先生] and previous director who encouraged me to work in urgent care mental health.鈥 She says. She and her husband, Jason, hope to soon foster to adopt children and grow their family.

DubiszIn June, Michael Joseph Dubisz, 鈥20, celebrated five years teaching high school math at William Carey Academy in Bangladesh. He is now back in the U.S. and has joined SonSet Solutions, an engineering ministry that he interned with during his time at 91猫先生. He plans to use his engineering education to support global missions.

 

 

Taylor_CourtneyCourtney Taylor, 鈥22, and her husband, Jack, were married on September 7. They have two kitties named Bullet and Tiger and currently foster four baby kittens. They are excited for their future together.

 

 

 

BirdsellAlexis (Birdsell) Geldbach, 鈥23, and her husband, Marshal, were married this past April. They moved to Yorba Linda to be closer to their offices, and in May, Alexis celebrated two years at her job as a digital designer with Bear Down Brands.

 

 

 

Brown_KaseyOn August 7, Dr. Kasey Phillips Brown, 鈥24, celebrated 25 years at the Occupational Therapy Training Program. She started as a school-based therapist in 2000 and has been a clinical supervisor since 2004. 鈥淚 am proud of the time I鈥檝e spent serving our clients in the Los Angeles and South Bay areas.鈥 She says. Through her nonprofit, she recently distributed her 鈥淢issing Black Woman Disparity Toolkit鈥 which is a resource to help find missing people.

 

Valdez_MaleaThis June, Malea Valdez, 鈥25, started a position as a Residence Hall Director at Saint Mary's University of Minnesota, helping to lead a team of 20 Resident Advisors(RAs) and two Jr. RAs. She says, 鈥淭his position has allowed me to grow exponentially in my abilities as a supervisor and has helped me develop strong leadership, crisis response and community building skills. It has been a privilege to contribute to creating a welcoming, safe and engaging living environment at Saint Mary鈥檚.鈥

YingerPaige Yinger, 鈥25, and Kurtis Yinger, 鈥22, have purchased their first house.

 

 

 

 

Cruz_LeslieIn April, Leslie Cruz, 鈥25, graduated from the 91猫先生 Online MSW program, and was hired shortly after as the Wellness Center Coordinator at Colton High School鈥攈er very own alma mater. She enjoys supporting students and families in the community she grew up in. 鈥淢y hope is to make a meaningful difference in this generation's lives,鈥 she says, 鈥渉elping them feel seen, supported and empowered.鈥

 

GanzaIn May of 2023, Candice (Peters) Ganza, 鈥10 & 鈥22, moved to Rwanda as a full-time missionary. She is the head administrator for a church in the Northern Province with several auxiliary ministries devoted to pulling people out of poverty, providing quality education and creating opportunities to encounter God. She and her husband, Michel, got married this past summer. They met in Rwanda and serve in ministry together. She is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Christian Leadership.

September 2025

CrabtreeMarilyn (Greenlee) Crabtree, 鈥62, and her husband, Walt Crabtree, 鈥62, celebrated their 64th Wedding Anniversary on June 10, 2025. They have three children, ten grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren. They are retired and live in Escondido to be near their daughter and her family. They enjoy being a part of 91猫先生's alumni, trustee meetings, basketball games, and various activities.

 

 

BryantRonald Joe Bryant, 鈥70, graduated his earthly life the morning of Saturday, July 19, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was a lifetime credentialed teacher. While at 91猫先生, he played soccer and participated in the Young Democrats Club. Ron was a zealous historian. He was also enthusiastically active in his community. He leaves behind his wife of 12 years, Nicole, his stepchildren, Malakai, Elijah, and Jeremiah, and his two younger brothers, Denny and Steve, as well as many family members and friends who will miss him greatly.

RenickClay Renick, 鈥84, is set to release Remember That Summer, a Christian romantic suspense ebook available November 1. Inspired by his master鈥檚 studies in pastoral counseling鈥攖he story follows two young lifeguards facing loss, cancer, homelessness and a hurricane as they learn that God can rebuild lives broken by storms.

 

 

ParsioJennifer (Flood) Parsio, 鈥98, and Michael Parsio, 鈥98, celebrated the marriage of their daughter, Alexis Parsio, 鈥23, to Nathan Sporcich, 鈥23, in April 2025.

 

 

NeighborsLuke Neighbors, 鈥05, and Kate (Leathem) Neighbors, 鈥07, just celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary and they moved their oldest child into the 91猫先生 dorms. Their son is a third generation 91猫先生 student (Kate鈥檚 dad graduated in 1975).

 

 

 

FredricksonAfter graduating from 91猫先生, Kara (Knudsen) Fredrickson, 鈥12, built her own business and today, she鈥檚 not only a dedicated entrepreneur, but also a proud mom of two little ones under two. This year has been especially meaningful as she and her husband purchased their first home, and on October 1st, they鈥檒l celebrate four wonderful years of marriage.

On September 6, 2025, his birthday, Pavankumar Raja, 鈥16, was appointed by the Governor of Maryland as a clinician board member of the Maryland State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners. Serving on this board has given him the privilege of contributing to the Continuing Education, Legislative and Regulations Committees, as well as stepping into a new role as a liaison for the American Physical Therapy Association in Maryland. He says: 鈥淚 will always remember where it began: at 91猫先生, with the encouragement of my professors who believed in me.鈥

PoutreDaphne (Nance) Poutre, 鈥17 & 鈥21, and Luke Poutre, 鈥21, welcomed their first child, Evangeline Poutre, on July 14, 2025. They say, 鈥淲e are over the moon!鈥

 

 

FullerRyan Fuller, 鈥18, and Jess (Olson) Fuller, 鈥18, had their third baby girl, Ella Brielle Fuller in May 2025.

 

 

 

KistlerHarlan Kistler II, 鈥18, has been working at John W. North High School as an English Teacher and the head wrestling coach for eight years. He teaches in their Education Academy, helping guide students to careers in education, social work and the medical field. As head wrestling coach, he has won four league titles, two Southern Section Academic titles and, last year, had the first ever state champion for their district. 鈥淪hout out to 91猫先生 wrestling for making me a great wrestler.鈥 He says, 鈥淚 loved every minute at 91猫先生!鈥

TaylorCourtney Taylor, 鈥18, was married on September 7, 2025. She鈥檚 looking forward to a wonderful life with her husband, Jack, and is excited for this next chapter in her life.

 

 

 

MengjieMengjie Xia, 鈥18, celebrated her wedding to Junqiang Wang this past May. They were married in China and felt so blessed that several of their 91猫先生 classmates, as well as her professor, Dr. Shields, traveled from around the world to share the special moment. She feels grateful to begin this new chapter surrounded by love.

 

 

GalbraithLindsey Galbraith, 鈥19 & 鈥21, is humbled and excited to begin serving as the incoming President of the Pick Group of Young Professionals, a diverse network of rising leaders committed to shaping Riverside鈥檚 future. She says, 鈥淢y hope is to inspire other young professionals to lead boldly, serve with integrity and believe in the impact they can make when faith, service and leadership come together.鈥

 

 

Savanah (McPhillips) Carey, 鈥20, and her husband, Patrick, have been married for two years and are expecting a baby in March 2026. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. She has been working for the County of Riverside for four years.

SnellNiki (Johnson) Snell, 鈥20, and her husband, Aaron, were married on April 6, 2025.

 

 

 

Rebecca V. Goins, 鈥21, is batting Stage 4 rectal cancer for the second time. She is finally responding to treatment and hopes to be in remission by April 2026.

HansonAshley Hanson, 鈥21, has been promoted to clinical director for Turning Point Centers. She says: 鈥淎s an alumnae of 91猫先生 I am, in fact, living my purpose.鈥

 

 

FernandezKeoni Fernandez, 鈥22, and Rachel (Gee) Fernandez, 鈥22, met at 91猫先生 in 2021, graduated together and got married December 2022. In 2023, they welcomed their first baby boy, Jonah. This year, they welcomed their second child, a baby girl named Naomi. Keoni works as a Marine Vessel Inspector in Texas and Rachel is currently staying home with their children. 鈥淲e try to visit family and friends in California whenever we get the chance.鈥 Rachel says, 鈥淲e recently took the kids to 91猫先生 while visiting for my sister鈥檚 wedding!鈥

BrownOn August 7, 2025, Dr. Kasey Phillips Brown, 鈥24, celebrated 25 years working for the Occupational Therapy Training Program.

 

 

ScholzAfter graduating, Raymond Hathaway Scholz, 鈥24, was still working as a facilities maintenance technician for the city of Ontario. His degree allowed him an opportunity to volunteer every other Friday in the IT security department for the city, for about a year. This experience, along with his degree, earned him a promotion to his current role as IT Technician. 鈥淚've dreamed of this moment since I enrolled at 91猫先生 back in 2021,鈥 he says, 鈥淚 am loving my new role with the City of Ontario. I am starting to live my purpose thanks to 91猫先生.鈥

ClarkLetitia Clark, 鈥25, is running for Mayor of Tustin, CA. She鈥檇 like to thank her dissertation committee鈥擠r. Groves, Dr. Ahumada, and Dr. Alexander. They encouraged her every step of the dissertation process and supported her research about the experiences of women of color who have run for office.

 

August 2025

Michael P. Vanta, 鈥75, and his wife Ellen celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary August 2, 2025.

BurkhartIn February 2025, Stephanie Burkhart, 鈥95, celebrated her 25-year anniversary working for the City of Los Angeles as a 911 Dispatcher.

 

 

 

RamosCynthia (Fuzzard) Ramos, 鈥03, just welcomed two grandbabies: one girl and one boy. Additionally, her youngest son, Nathaniel, will be a Lancer in the Fall.

 

 



TranJonathan Tran, 鈥13, has been featured in an independent film called Where We Meet, directed by Mike Southerly. He plays an opera singer and gets to showcase his operatic abilities in the movie.

 

 

 

HoferAarika (Petersen) Hofer, 鈥13 and 鈥16, and her husband Jesse are excited to announce they鈥檝e had a baby, Amelia Faith born May 8.

 

 

 

HarbottleEmma Harbottle, 鈥20, landed her dream job working as a mermaid at Ripley鈥檚 Aquarium in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.

 

 



RolandAlayna (Flores) Roland, 鈥24, married her husband, Sean, in November 2024, graduated with her master's degree in December 2024, and was recently hired as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist at a Christian practice, Selah Counseling Center.

 

 

 

SpringsteadDeeanna Springstead, 鈥24, just welcomed her third child in July while attending Biola University for a Master's of Science degree in Special Education and dual credential, Multi-Subject and Mild-Moderate Support Needs.

 

 

 

FrazierOn August 2, 2025, John Frazier, 鈥25, and his family welcomed their first grandchild to the world, Aria Belle, a beautiful healthy girl. The next day, August 3, he and his wife Leslie celebrated their 24th anniversary.

 

June 2025

CarlislePhilip Carlisle, 鈥13, began writing during his time at 91猫先生 when a friend asked him to tell her a story. Fast forward sixteen years and those first ten pages are now six novels and he鈥檚 preparing to publish the first book late this year or early 2026.

 

 

 

NorrisJennifer Norris, 鈥14, received a master鈥檚 degree in health informatics and is working as a clinical afterhours supervisor for a hospital in Ontario, Canada. She previously spent 5 years in Quality Management/Population Health in San Joaquin County. 鈥淚t鈥檚 been a journey,鈥 she says, 鈥渂ut I have found my purpose!鈥

 

 

Mariela Morales, 鈥14 and 鈥18, was selected for recognition at the 38th Annual Multilingual Recognition Dinner Program for Redlands Unified School District. She received this award for her hard work and superior dedication in promoting the quality of education for language minority students.

CardenasAnthony Ray Cardenas, 鈥19 and 鈥20, received his white coat from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine signifying the transition from didactics to clinical practice. He will start treating patients as soon as July 1, marking the end of his second year and start of his third year of dental school.

 

 

HackfordAfter Sadie Hackford, 鈥24 and 鈥25, earned her master鈥檚 degree in organizational leadership this April, she began a new chapter working in athletic ticketing in Long Beach. She is incredibly grateful to be starting a career in the field she has been dreaming of. She says, 鈥淕od has been present in every step of the journey, even when I could not see it.鈥

 

 

Dr. Paul Saldana, 鈥24, has been appointed as a tenured track Assistant Professor of Business for the Fresno Pacific University School of Graduate & Professional Studies.  Dr. Saldana attainted his Ed.D. at 91猫先生 in 2024.  He has previously taught at Fresno Pacific as an Instructor rank, Adjunct Faculty, and most recently in a one-year term as Assistant Professor.

May 2025

MachadoMarc Machado, 鈥11, was named WAC Golf Coach of the year this May. He has been named golf coach of the year three times during his time as the head women鈥檚 golf coach at 91猫先生: two times PacWest Coach of the Year and once as WAC Coach of the year.

 

 

NamaziDavid Namazi, 鈥12, served four years on active duty with the 25th Infantry division in Hawaii. He was medically separated in 2002, earning combat service ribbons, as well as other awards and accolades. He completed his bachelor鈥檚 in business administration at California Baptist University and has a graduate level education in entrepreneurship from UCLA. David is currently married with three children and is CEO of DVBE Insurance & Financial Services LLC.

 

Aarika (Petersen) Hofer, 鈥13 and 鈥16, and her husband, Jesse, are expecting a baby girl this month.

MonroeMelodie (Hammarstrom) Monroe, 鈥15, and Isaac Monroe, 鈥14, are proud parents to two amazing boys: James (2.5) and Luke (7 months).

 

 

 

UtomoGrace (Crosby) Utomo, 鈥15 and 鈥19, and Ivan Utomo, 鈥14 and 鈥17, are releasing their second book, "Hello, God: Seeking the Lord When Words Fall Short" on May 25. The book is a 31-day devotional inspired by Grace's experience following a difficult accident.




TorresLeanna (Sahagun) Torres, 鈥19, was offered a role at the Walt Disney Company to join their Communications, Public Affairs team.

 

 

 

MarroquinSara Marroquin, 鈥20, accepted a summer paid law clerk position with the San Bernardino District Attorney's office.

 

 

 

NealEmily Neal, 鈥20, had a recent 鈥渟mall world moment,鈥 running into a fellow Lancer in France. During a tour of D-Day sites in Normandy, France, she met current 91猫先生 student Logan Foley, who is in Spain with the 91猫先生 study abroad program. Emily is a now a teacher at a school in Austin, Texas and was leading a group of students on a WWII European tour. The included photo shows Logan and Emily in front of the church paratrooper memorial in the town of Sainte-M猫re-脡glise.

 

LimDestiny Lim, 鈥22, graduated with her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy on May 17.

 

 



AkinsunmiAdedotun Abiola Akinsunmi, 鈥22, is thrilled to share two wonderful milestones with you all. First, he has officially secured his permanent residency in the United States. This marks a significant step forward in his journey, and he is deeply grateful for this opportunity. Second, his family has grown! They are overjoyed to welcome their little princess, bringing their family size to five. Her arrival fills their hearts with immense joy and gratitude.

 

HandleyElizabeth (Maldonado) Handley, 鈥22, is excited to announce the birth of her baby girl.

 

 



RiosBrianna Bea Rios, 鈥23, graduated from Gateway Seminary with a Master's in Theological Studies. She received a Zondervan Award for excellence in scholarship in Theology.

 

 

 

Dr. Thomasina Mosley Sisay, 鈥24, was recently promoted to the Division Chief of Policy, Leadership & Staff Development at LA County Department of Children and Family Services.

Lorena Boyzo, 鈥24, was hired with San Bernardino County Department of Behavioral Health two months after graduating and in the same department where she completed her second year of her internship. She also recently passed the Law & Ethics exam, which is required for licensure.

April 2025

RobinsRicky A. Robins, 鈥76, passed away on November 17, 2024 in Arkansas, where he moved with his wife, Mandy, after retirement. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, three sons, Luke, Micah, and John, four grandchildren, Olivia, Ellie, Ivy, and Jordyn, with one more on the way.

 

 

CummingsCarolyn (Bennett) Cummings, 鈥05, presented on 鈥淧ostvention Supports for Mental Health Professionals鈥 for the Christian Association for Psychological Sciences conference in Denver.

 

 

 

Connor SmithConnor Smith鈥檚, 鈥15, production company, Big Picture Entertainment, recently launched a new Disney-themed show called 鈥淒COM: Live!,鈥 a tribute show covering Disney Channel Original Movies and music of the 2000s. Their first show was performed in San Diego, and they're currently booking tour dates all over the country. 鈥淧roducing and arranging music that I'm passionate about was a skill that I really honed in my time at 91猫先生,鈥 he says, 鈥渁nd I'm so grateful that I've been able to take that passion to a global level.鈥

Nolan KistlerNolan Bartlett Kistler, 鈥18, and his wife, Katarina Kistler, 鈥18, met in 2017 when they a stumbled into each other while walking around campus. They married in 2022. They welcomed their first child, Hunter Bartlett Kistler, born December 1, 2024, sharing the same birthday as his father. After 91猫先生, Nolan earned his Juris Doctorate, passed the bar exam, and now works for his father practicing personal injury law. Katarina earned a master鈥檚 degree in business administration and is currently serving as a Senior Account Manager at UPS.

Butch Maier, 鈥21, was named managing editor of RV News magazine, based near Denver. He is finishing a year as visiting assistant teaching professor of journalism and communication at Northern Kentucky University. As an indie filmmaker, he has completed seven movies.

Dwayne RileyDwayne Riley, 鈥22, was accepted to the Doctor of Occupational Therapy Program at West Coast University of Graduate Studies and will begin September 2025.

 

 

 

PassarellaIn November 2024, Mervin Francisco-Passarella, 鈥23, was promoted to Chief Nurse Executive at Kaiser Permanente South Bay Medical Center. After he completed his Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at 91猫先生, he took the next step and pursued his Nurse Executive-Advanced Board Certification (NEA-BC). He says: 鈥淭o my fellow Lancers: If the door doesn鈥檛 open the first time, don鈥檛 walk away鈥攌nock again, and keep growing while you wait.鈥

March 2025

Angela ONeillSince graduating from 91猫先生, Angela (Sanicola) O'Neill, 鈥04, has taught, including at 91猫先生, served as the Fine Arts Director for Crossroads Christian School and as the Arts Director for Mariners Church. Her passion for sharing the love of Jesus through creative expression has led her to write scripts, a musical, speak at events, lead ministries, and now, release her first book: Unspoken Word: One Moment With Jesus Changes Everything. This book weaves together storytelling from her life and Scripture, bringing to life 12 biblical encounters with Jesus.

Marian JacobsMarian A. (Crotinger) Jacobs, 鈥08, has a book releasing from B&H on July 1, 2025, titled, On Magic and Miracles: A Theological Guide to Discerning Fictional Magic. It's currently available for preorder.

 

 

 

ArceBrenda Arce, 鈥13, and her family (including two of her children currently attending 91猫先生) are celebrating a new Baby Lancer! Little Heavanah just turned one this past February. Brenda says, 鈥淪he is heaven sent :) Go Lancers!鈥

 

 

 

CrumbyKhristopher Wayne Crumby, 鈥14, has been working at the Riverside County District Attorney鈥檚 Office for the past six years. He was recently moved into a lead position within the Felony Prosecution Unit with an emphasis on prison crimes. His new responsibilities include mentoring new and up-and-coming attorneys who are ready to take the next step in their careers. He was recently featured in the first episode of a new social media campaign by the DA鈥檚 Office called 鈥淥rigin Stories鈥 where they highlight and tell inspiring stories about attorneys and their journey to becoming a prosecutor.

ArreolaJacob Arreola, 鈥16, and his wife, Alexandra, have the honor of pastoring Awaken Church in Fort Worth, TX. When they took over a year and a half ago, the church was on the brink of closing its doors. Today, it has come back to life, is filled up with new and matured believers and is making a significant impact in their city. Jacob says the longer he鈥檚 been out of 91猫先生, the more he sees the impact it had on his life and the various ministry opportunities God has allowed him.

 

KetringRaquel Ketring, 鈥24, has accepted an RN residency at Loma Linda Children鈥檚 Hospital in Acute Care Pediatrics.

 

 

 

February 2025

SivonenHeidi (Joos) Sivonen, 鈥00, and her husband Mikko have been serving the Great Commission in Finland under the auspices of the International Mission Board for almost 19 years. She and Mikko have been married for more than 25 years. They have an oldest son at Masters University, another son about to graduate High School, and are homeschooling three children this spring state-side until May 2025.

 

In November of 2024, Christa (Ereksen) Banton, 鈥04, published research in the American Journal of Qualitative Research on how women are treated in the computer technology field. She found that many still feel lack of belonging as the field is heavily dominated by men. Her work is titled, 鈥淓xamining the Retention and Exodus of Women in Technology.鈥

LunaRobyn (Glessner) Luna, 鈥05, and her husband, Michael, have a little Lancer, Luke Luna, who was born July 5th. He is their first child. He is five months old in the included photo.

 

 

 

DeanaDeana (Hodgeson) Kahle, 鈥09, was recently promoted to Executive Director at The Counseling Team International. They serve first responders and are "dedicated to serving those who serve" by providing short-term term counseling, training, and critical incident stress management to over 300 public safety agencies.

 

 

WillisOn January 31, 2025, Sarah (Olvera) Willis, 鈥10, and her husband, Kevin, welcomed their baby boy, Isaac, via embryo adoption. 

 

 

 

KoherAnnabel (Zandi) Koher, 鈥15, and her husband, Ryan, are blessed to share that they welcomed their first daughter, Abigail Lee Koher, on December 10th. She joins her two older brothers, Elias (five) & Hezekiah (four). They are now preparing to return their family to their mission field in Mozambique, following Ryan鈥檚 wrongful detainment in 2022/2023 and the closure of the case with no charges in October 2024.

 

SigmanMark Sigman II, 鈥19, adopted a loving pooch named Ash, who is his new companion in his path moving forward. He also turned 32 and got fully vested in RUHS Riverside County.

 

 

 

Janet AlvarezJanet (Alvarez) Calva, 鈥21, married her husband Emmanuel in 2021 during her last Semester of Nursing School. She also started a podcast named "The Emman & Jan Show" in 2022 as well as a brand business in 2023 called "Physically Fit Mentally Insane" that promotes physical and mental health. In 2024, she began a baking journey and initiated a baking page called "Sourdoughbeningins" on Instagram. She and her husband are always up to something, and it has not always been easy but, with God by their side, they have been able to enjoy the journey so far.

Analy JarboeAnaly (Garcia) Jarboe, 鈥21, and Kyle Jarboe, 鈥18, welcomed Hudson Barrett Jarboe on December 17, 2024.

 

 

 

ZaraZara Melcher, 鈥22, and her husband, Michael, welcomed their first baby, Remi Louise, on January 25, 2025.

 

 

 

Justine Bentley, 鈥23, is in her second year of teaching, and is clearing her credential in a few months. Since she has joined her current school, her work and efforts have been greatly valued. Her department officials loved some of her implemented strategies so much that they have decided to incorporate them into the curriculum for the English 4 course next school year.

HesterlyKinika Hesterly, 鈥23, and her husband, David, have started a mentorship company, Professional Success Mentorship, to assist aspiring professionals with career development resources and small business owners with content creation. Her mother, Lorean, passed away from cancer a few months shy of her graduation in 2023. She was a dedicated Christian and an alumna of the same Public Administration program at 91猫先生. She is greatly missed.

 

Kelli M. Hicks, 鈥24, is very thankful to receive the Honor Society Induction Certificate during her undergrad studies online in 91猫先生鈥檚 Graphic Design & Digital Media program. She is now continuing her studies in one of the graduate level programs. 鈥淭hank you to all of the staff and professors who helped me with my work.鈥 She says, 鈥淢s. Grace has been a great support! Also, there are many great professors there, Professor Park and others who really help the students in those programs! Thanks, 91猫先生!鈥

Joseph Lindstrom, 鈥24, graduated with his Master鈥檚 in Education and received a pay raise in his role as an Adapted Physical Education Teacher at Pacific Coast Academy.

RolandAlayna Isabel (Flores) Roland, 鈥24, and her husband, Sean, were married while she was in the midst of her final semester of the Online MSCP program. Their wedding day was Friday, November 8, 2024.

 

 

January 2025

Mildred Wier-Jarvis, 鈥55, passed into spirit on July 11, 2024. Following a 23-year career with Bank of America, she and her husband of 68 years, Bruce Jarvis, 鈥60, moved to the Oregon coast. Until her death, much of her time was spent in volunteer service to the community.

Lesleigh J. Tolin, 鈥93, began her work in graduate school in her early 40's and graduated with her MS in Counseling Psychology. Today, she鈥檚 enjoying her solo private practice as a Grief/Loss Specialist in the Woodland Hills/Encino area of Southern CA.

BelloMichelle (Jacobson) Bello, 鈥96, and her husband Jon Bello, 鈥96, announce the marriage of Matthew Clegg, 鈥24, and Abigail Bello, 鈥24, on May 5, 2024. Many of their 91猫先生 friends were there, along with their church family from Fellowship Baptist Church.

 

 

GwachamAdaobi Gwacham, 鈥08, opened her second Chick-fil-A location in June 2023 and celebrated 10 years of her first location in December 2024.

 

 



RisingerStephanie (Atayde) Risinger, 鈥09, and her husband, Michael Risinger, 鈥12, moved from California to Kansas 10 years ago. In September of 2024, she began a new role at MidAmerica Nazarene University as the Director of Student Counseling & Wellness. Stephanie supervises the graduate students who provide counseling to the undergraduate students. She also provides training and serves as mental health consultant to staff and faculty. This semester she was given the opportunity to serve as adjunct faculty in the Master of Arts in Counseling program.

BossertAli (Barnes) Bossert, 鈥15, is an adjunct English professor at 91猫先生 and her husband, Jim Bossert, 鈥16, is the 91猫先生 Head Swim/Dive Coach. They met while on the swim team at 91猫先生 while graduate students. On December 22, 2024, they welcomed their second son, Samuel James Bossert.

 

 

CAVAD alumni Jordan Singer, 鈥15, won 6 ECPA (Evangelical Christian Publishers Association) top shelf book cover awards in 2024.

PradettoOn December 12, 2024, Joe Pradetto, 鈥16, was sworn in to the Palm Desert City Council.

 

 



WittSydney Witt, 鈥16, completed San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance鈥檚 Emerging Leader Program. This was a one-year leadership training program where she took classes on how to be a better decision maker, handle difficult conversations, and more. Sydney ended the program by conducting a presentation with her cohort to their Executive team about a new team member benefit initiative which was accepted.

 

 

Amber (Korras) Alvarenga, 鈥18, graduated from 91猫先生 with her BS in Criminal Justice in 2016 and her MA in Forensic Psychology in 2018. She recently developed a mentorship program for mental health professionals as well as students working towards entering the field. The program is designed to help mental health professionals overcome self-doubt and imposter feelings.

KistlerSince graduating, Harlan Bartlett Kistler II, 鈥18, has become an English Teacher and the Head Wrestling Coach at John W. North High School in Riverside, CA. Since taking these roles, he has coached his teams to three League titles, three CIF Individual Champions, five Master's Place winners including one Champion, five State Qualifiers, two State medalists (5th and 2nd respectively). His team holds two Academic Team titles, and they are currently ranked 18th in the state for wrestling. Harlan has worked as an AP teacher, ELD Teacher, Academy Teacher, English teacher and a PE teacher.

SinesioNicole Sinesio, 鈥21, and her husband Kenton McLain, 鈥22, met at Cal Baptist just two short weeks after their freshman year began in 2018. They have just closed escrow on their first home in Fallbrook, CA. 鈥淲e wanted to wait until we could afford the land, life, and wedding of our dreams,鈥 she says. 鈥淲e were not financially stable enough until now to make that happen. Now we are going to be seeing the fruits of our labor in the avocado capital of the world!鈥

 

NapoliJenna (Olson) Napoli, 鈥22, and her husband, Tim, were married on November 15, 2024.

 

 



PerkinsAlicia Perkins, 鈥22, became a licensed marriage and family therapist in December 2024. She also got engaged to a wonderful godly man, Phillip Inzunza, a few days before Christmas. 鈥淕od has been blessing me greatly since graduating with a master鈥檚 in counseling psychology from 91猫先生!鈥 She says, 鈥淭hank you so much! Go Lancers!鈥

 

 

RichardsonTiara Richardson, 鈥22, is Director of Student Services with San Bernardino City Unified School District and is wrapping up her Ed.D in Organizational Leadership this month. Additionally, she was just accepted into Harvard鈥檚 Executive Education Leadership program on Behavioral Insight and Public Policy.

 

 

TrumanMadison 鈥淢adey鈥 Jewel (Liscio) Truman, 鈥22, is a certified massage therapist and started a travel massage business. She has a love for pottery and shortly after getting her massage therapy certification, her pottery business, Madey Made Pottery Co., took off.

 

 

MetzlerMichael Metzler Jr., 鈥23, co-produced and co-directed his current short film, 鈥淧ortrait of a Smile,鈥 which won 16 awards out of 18 festival selections, including Best Drama in Reale Film Festival, and Best Indie Short at the World Film Festival in Cannes. He鈥檚 also waiting to hear back from some significant Oscar-qualifying film festivals. Michael is currently in the pre-production process for his next project, which will be a feature film.
